BGN’s SMILE Campaign – help us give back to those in need

BGN is a wonderful charity organised by Niki Taylor, Paul Bertie Benson and Gema Vinson who arrange SMILE food package deliveries to the needy in Dorking and surrounding areas.

When Abi Oleck MD of BeauSkin was introduced to BGN she immediately had the great idea of arranging a SMILE raffle supported by friends, contacts and Celebrity clients.

First to reply was the fabulous TV Personality Lizzie Cundy (Farnham Surrey)

Lizzie generously donated a Red Carpet dress and beauty hamper.

Stunning Laura Hamilton (Surrey) donated a Lord Roberts Tea hamper and a lovely dress worn on TV’s A place in the Sun.

Surrey author Paula Clarke donated signed copies of her 2 new books she wrote in lock down!

BeauBronz Tans and Beauty from Box Hill Surrey donated beauty packages and BeauSkin in Dorking, Surrey a Beauty Hamper.

PureSkin donated a Quantum Therapy LED worth £1500 to help a local salon business restart with the best equipment.

Athena Turner kindly donated a Signed Book and STEPS Lee Latchford-Evans– donated a signed CD.

Pia Michi Fashion House donated a stunning cocktail dress and many more donations were received from local artists and companies.

Abi set a target of £5,000 which was reached within 24 hours due to the generosity of clients and friends across the beauty industry.

All donations received by BGN are split into £100 food purchases consisting of meat, fruit and veg, these are topped up with tinned goods and pasta donated by the community plus welcome donations from TESCO . 5 parcels are made up (from each £100) which are then distributed to 5 local vulnerable residents. BGN spends in-between £1500 to £2000 per week in the supermarket ensuring the vulnerable are not forgotten. These SMILE packages are a life line for some needy families and are gratefully received.
